Travel Bucket List: The Top Five Countries I'm Dying to Visit
/At the beginning of the year, I was going to write a Travel Bucket List for 2018, but I never got around to it...and now the year is almost half over. So I think it is a little too late to do it now. Instead, I thought I would just tell you guys the top five countries on my bucket list that I'd love to visit, and hopefully hear some more suggestions from all of you!
- Greece
This one goes all the way back to the first time I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. If you know the movie, you know what I mean when I say it displayed some of the most beautiful views of Greece that made me majorly want to travel there someday. Add that in with the fact that my best friend is Greek, and has told me so many stories about her travels there, and it has gone to the top of my list of places I'd love to travel.
- Iceland
So part of this is because I would love to stay in one of the ice hotels. Or possibly do a road trip in a camper, as I have heard Iceland is a great place to that. Not to mention I have seen so many travel vlogs recently of people going here, and the views just seem amazing. It would also be a dream of mine to see the Northern Lights, so hopefully, I could make that could happen as well!
- Bali
I have seen so many people on Instagram traveling to Bali recently, and it seems like just the most amazing place to visit. I've heard so many great things about the country and it's people, and how everyone is very kind and welcoming. One of my dream things to do here would be to the Monkey Forest, I feel like it is a must, and would be so awesome.
- Mexico
Quite a few of my friends have been to Mexico multiple times, and I'm always jealous when I see their photos. This would be a good trip because it would not be as long of a flight as the rest of the places on my list, and going here would allow me to cross so many things off my regular bucket lists. Such as scuba diving or snorkeling. And since so many of my friends have been here, I have a long list of recommendations and tips I can bring with me!
- Ireland
Okay, so this one is a little different because I technically have been to Ireland already. However, I was pretty young at the time, maybe nine or ten? So while I do remember a great deal from the trip, it is definitely a place I'd love to experience again as an adult. Not only is Ireland just incredibly beautiful, but I just feel like there would be so many fun things to see and do there. And if you can't tell from my name or my incredibly pale skin, my family is almost 100% Irish, so it would be a great experience to be able to visit a country with so much personal significance for me and learn more about my families' history.
Now I'm interested to hear about some of your travel bucket lists! What places are you all dying to visit? Let me know in the comments below. And if any of you have been to the places on my list, leave me some of the best tips from your travels!
